About Kyle

After having been overweight for most of my adult life, I was diagnosed with metabolic syndrome in 2008. This condition is a collection of risk factors such as hypertension, hyperlipidemia, and elevated blood glucose coupled with obesity. After a life-changing event, I finally realized that I had to make drastic lifestyle changes. Long story short, I did just that.

My new passion for nutrition is what led me back to school to Lipscomb University where I received my Bachelors degree in nutrition. Following that I completed my dietetic internship through Marywood University. Shortly after becoming a registered dietitian, I completed my Masters degree in Exercise and Nutrition Science from Lipscomb University. This degree helped me to further understand the intricate relationship between nutrition, exercise, & optimal performance.  Following that I became a Board Certified Specialist in Sports Dietetics.

Since my transition to Sports Nutrition, I have been privileged enough to work in the Sports Nutrition Departments at the University of Texas and the University of Virginia where I have worked with athletes from over 4 different countries in sports such as football, men’s and women’s soccer, football, rowing, track, golf, swimming, and field hockey.I helped these athletes to facilitate behavior changes that lead to positive body composition changes and improved performance.

"It's all about the Right foods in the Right amounts at the Right times."

Client Testimonials

“Before I started working with Kyle, I was eating healthy foods but not on a healthy diet. Kyle taught me the importance of having a balanced diet, paying attention to not only what I'm eating but the significance of portion size too.
Kyle also stressed that exercise is only part of the equation, because if nutrition isn't a priority in your life you won't get the fitness results you're looking for. Following Kyle's nutrition plan got me to my desired weight in less than 2 months. Thank you Kyle!!”

                       - Bev Solimine

“I went to Kyle out of desperation for a plan to run on for my nutrition.  Alone, I just couldn't get it right - calories, protein, fat, carbs - all of my ratios were a mess!  Kyle - I kindly say - is a geeky nutritionist/adviser.  He has a scientific calculator at his desk and gets the numbers RIGHT!  Because of that, I'm down over 10 lbs. from just following his numbers and heeding his advice to just eat NATURAL foods - don't cram supplements into my body to speed up anything.  Kyle gets its! So if you're looking for honest, straightforward, geek driven data and a track to run on to accomplish your goals, get to him.  You won't regret and your body will change!”

                                                                         - Benton White

"Before I started working with Kyle, I was working out a lot and considered myself physically "fit" but had reached a plateau and couldn't move the needle on the scale. Kyle taught me how to really think about what I was putting in my body, and although I was taking in fewer calories, I was not starving like I had been with other diet plans in the past. He also showed me how to continue to enjoy some of my favorite snacks but maintain my calorie intake so I didn't feel deprived of anything! Within 6 weeks of being on the plan that Kyle custom-built for me, the needle on the scale had started to move and I really felt in control of my health and wellness! Go see Kyle, you won't regret it!"
